Festivals in Advertising are not a new thing. But a festival that you would prefer not to participate is something unusual. From november 24th to 30th will took place the Wild Advertising Awards: the first international festival that recognizes abuse and exploitation of wild animals in advertising. A selection of Ads and, more in general, every communication piece in which real, wild animals are forced to take part. Quoting the website of the festival, there will be prizes in the following categories:
– The most brutal international advertisement
– The advertisement featuring the largest number of wild animals
– The most brutal brand
– The most brutal agency
I’m quite curious: what will be the reaction of the various winners after receiving such an award?
